Festuris Gramado expanded its international presence during a strategic mission carried out in Bolivia and Peru, strengthening connections with key South American tourism players and promoting stronger commercial and institutional relationships between the markets.
The agenda began in Bolivia, with meetings in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and La Paz. During the visit, the delegation worked on bringing the Bolivian market closer to Festuris, focusing on increasing Bolivia’s presence among Brazilian and international audiences through the event’s business and tourism promotion platform.
Recognized for its cultural, historical, and gastronomic richness, as well as its natural beauty marked by a strong Andean identity, Bolivia stands out as a destination with great tourism potential and strategic importance for the development of new opportunities in the sector.
“It was an extremely positive trip, marked by important connections and the creation of new opportunities for tourism. Bolivia is a fascinating country, with a very strong cultural identity and enormous potential to grow even further in the international market. We returned optimistic about the possibilities of bringing the destination closer to Festuris,” highlights Eduardo Zorzanello.
The mission also received support from Estropical, represented by director Eduardo Achá, CEO Jerônimo Vaqueiro, and the entire company team, who welcomed the delegation with professionalism, attention, and hospitality throughout the program.
Afterward, the delegation traveled to Peru, where it participated in Peru Travel Mart, one of the country’s leading tourism events focused on business generation, networking, and the international promotion of the Peruvian destination.
During the event, Festuris reinforced its relationship-building efforts with the Peruvian government, PromPerú, and tourism sector companies, aiming to expand Peru’s participation in the fair held in Gramado and consolidate the event as an important platform connecting destinations and international markets.
Another central topic of the meetings was the importance of air connectivity between Lima and Porto Alegre, considered strategic for expanding tourism, cultural, and commercial exchange between the countries. In addition to the institutional and commercial meetings, the mission was also marked by reunions with partners and friends from the sector, strengthening relationships built over the years and expanding prospects for international cooperation in tourism.
The 38th Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair will take place from November 12 to 15 at Serra Park, under the theme “Real Relationships that Build the Future.” Organizers expect to gather around 17,000 tourism professionals, more than 60 international destinations, and generate over R$ 500 million in business deals.
