Silvia Zorzanello’s legacy continues to inspire the tourism industry and, once again, will be celebrated in Gramado through the Silvia Zorzanello Trophy. In preparation for the next edition of the tribute, a coordination meeting was held with the Gramado City Council, which is taking part in the initiative that keeps alive the legacy of one of the municipality’s and Brazil’s great tourism leaders.

This year, the Silvia Zorzanello Trophy will take place on November 11, ahead of the opening of Festuris 2026, kicking off a special week for tourism in Gramado. The tribute recognizes individuals, companies and institutions that, like Silvia, make significant contributions to the development, appreciation and strengthening of tourism.

A businesswoman from Gramado, co-founder of Rossi & Zorzanello and one of the creators of Festuris, Silvia Zorzanello built a career marked by entrepreneurship, an ability to identify opportunities and, above all, dedication to building a stronger and more connected tourism industry. Her work helped put Gramado on the map beyond its borders and establish the municipality as one of Brazil’s leading tourist destinations.

The trophy was created precisely with this purpose: to transform Silvia’s memory into inspiration for the present and the future. The tribute seeks to honor her story and recognize those who continue to contribute to the advancement of tourism, creating opportunities and strengthening destinations and communities.

For Eduardo Zorzanello, Silvia’s son and a director at Rossi & Zorzanello, the tribute represents a special way of preserving the values that defined the businesswoman’s career.

“For our family, it is deeply moving to see Silvia’s name continue to be present and associated with people and institutions that make a difference in tourism. She strongly believed in the power of relationships, in the ability to build businesses and, above all, in collective efforts. The trophy is a way of keeping these values alive and showing that her legacy continues to inspire new stories,” says Eduardo.

The partnership with the Gramado City Council reinforces the institutional character of the tribute and the importance of recognizing individuals who helped — and continue to help — shape the history of tourism.

The Silvia Zorzanello Trophy ceremony will be a moment of recognition, remembrance and celebration, bringing together people who are part of Gramado’s tourism journey and who share the commitment to continuing to build new paths for the sector.
